Central Vacuum System


With a built-in Central Vacuum System, there's no cumbersome vacuum cleaner to lug from room to room or up and down stairs.

Ironically, the most common tool for removal of dust, the standard portable vacuum cleaner, actually makes air worse.

For one thing, their filters are designed to protect the vacuum motor from fine visible dust, not the humans from harmful, invisible dust.

Standard vacuums remove mostly visible dirt, so that our homes look clean. Each time you vacuum, you pick up the new dirt in your home, remove the few larger particles that are captured in the vacuum filter or bag, and release most of the fine, invisible dirt back into the indoor air of your home. Plus you pick up the fine invisible dust released from past vacuuming and release it back into the air again..

So each time you vacuum with a portable unit, you add to the buildup of allergens in the air in your home.

As a solution to this problem, the central vacuum cleaner becomes one of the most important tools for managing household allergens like dust mites and their minute droppings. Thorough cleaning of carpets, mattresses, upholstered furniture, curtains and drapery regularly will reduce the dust mite allergens in your home. It is better to clean thoroughly once a week instead of lightly every day. In order to prevent these minute particles containing allergens from being re-circulated into the air you breathe, a central vacuum cleaner must be vented outside the home.
